ABOUT VIVIEN MICHELLE

Hey there!

I am Viv. Artist, Designer, and Mother.

Working primarily in oils and watercolor, I draw my creative inspiration from nature and architectural forms, and the emotional landscape we navigate each day. My current works are a study of these relationships, with the results often being deconstructed and stripped back into more simplistic forms.

I find a lot of peace in creating art. A form of meditation giving me permission to breathe, to slow down, and to embrace all of life’s moments. My principal focus is to create fine art that warms our home and inspires our everyday.

I am originally from New Zealand and now living in Alberta, Canada with my husband and four children.
